Newsletter

Dear Friends of A Novel Experience,

NewsFlash: Since "April, with his showers sweet with fruit/The droughts of March hath pierced to the root," we shall duly celebrate National Poetry Month by immersing Zebulon in poetry, beginning with this nod to Chaucer! He may have died in 1400, but his legacy still challenges us to see the world in a novel way, and poets continue to harrow that rich legacy. In Zebulon, as we have in past years, the Novel Poets and Writers (who meet every first Friday at 7 pm to share their work) will share their poems with the community in an ocular venue, and Ms. Kim Johnson's class has volunteered to help. On Monday, 2nd April, these students will paint snippets of the NP&W's poems onto participating stores' and businesses' windows. We hope this encourages lots of square-strolling this month! You 'll find copies of the complete poems inside those storefronts and at A Novel Experience. Join us any first Friday!
